Stage Information

For a small community, the Saunders County Fairgrounds has some of the best facilities we have ever seen. There are lots of nice buildings and lots of room for expansion. For those of you who have never been to the show, here is a brief list of the buildings we use.

Stage 1 – The main stage is an open air auditorium. There is covered seating for 2500 with bleachers and room for lawn chairs. All contests and special shows take place here. Sound by Ultra Sound, Harry Derr.

Stage 2 – The commercial building is air conditioned and heated. There is room for 20 exhibitors inside. Crafts, exhibits, concessions, restrooms and private showers are available in this building. It is also used for acoustic jam sessions.

Stage 3 – The 4-H Building is also air-conditioned and heated. We have open stage in the morning and afternoon in this building and the Danciest Dance of the West from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am Friday and Saturday. There are restrooms and concessions in this building.

Stage 4 - The school exhibits building is air-conditioned. There is room for a few more exhibitor spaces here and it hosts jam sessions throughout the weekend.

There are numerous other buildings and shelters for jamming--rain or shine, in addition to lots of wide open spaces where people can set up their campsite.
